Langley, British Columbia July 18, 2022 – Flair Airlines, Canada’s everyday low fare airline, is excited to announce Malcolm Williams, is the first winner of Flair #ShotFromTheDot challenge.
At yesterday’s Fraser Valley Bandits home game against Ottawa BlackJacks, Malcolm stepped up to hit not one, but both shots making him not only the first winner, but a double winner! For hitting the first shot, Malcolm won a trip to the Canadian Elite Basketball League (CEBL) Championship Weekend in Ottawa, Ontario from August 10 to 14, 2022. For making the second shot, Malcolm won free flights for a year to every destination Flair Airlines flies in Canada, the United States and Mexico.
Flair Airlines and the CEBL have a multi-year partnership with the aim of bringing Canadian basketball fans closer to the game. At every CEBL game this year fans have the chance to win. Both shots are made from Flair’s dot logo from inside the half-court line, and the second from the far side of the half-court line.
To date, 156 fans have attempted to make the shot at the CEBL’s 79 regular season games. Malcolm may be the first to make both shots, but fans across Canada have the opportunity to attempt the Flair Airlines #ShotFromTheDot at the remaining CEBL games this summer and join Malcolm at the CEBL Championship and on free Flair flights for a year.
